JKR is such a talented and brilliant women but killing Sirius? That was so very unnecessary!

Not to mention the majority of the other character deaths!

I wasn't affected much by the deaths in DH. Probably because there were so many to keep up with! :D

Yeah, I do suppose that Sirius was a one off so it hit you harder. And I so wasn't expecting it! I hadn't read this book since when it came out and I'd completely forgotten that Sirius died. Plus, I don't think I particularly minded as much when I read the book all those years ago because I never realised how gorgeous Gary was until OoTP (I know, kick me and beat me I deserve it!) so I was sat there next to my friend going OMFG HE'S GORGEOUS and also squeeing over Jason Isaacs during the fight scene when all of a sudden she nudged me, I looked up and he was all dead. :|
And I cried lol.

*gasp* It took you till OoTP to realise how gorgeous Gary is??! LOL! Yeah it was quite distracting having both Gary AND Jason Isaacs in the same scene...I mean, who were we supposed to watch?!!

*nods* *bows head*
I mean, I'd seen Dracula and thought he was good looking but I've been so distracted by Johnny Depp for the last five or so years that I didn't really find any other celebrities hot :P But then I watched OoTP and I was just like 'buggger me, he's hot' and well, it went from there :)) Now the list is endless hhaa.
(of course Johnny's still my baby though :P)

And yes, I nearly die whenever that scene comes on. How i would love to be in the middle of that :D

I've written some Harry/sirius stuff PLUS I've started a Jackie/Teri story, which is only friendship yet. I LOVE Jackie Flannery and also Dracula!!

Ooh, I love me a bit of Harry/Sirius! I wrote a fic between them once but I didn't like it so I stopped, I'd like to write another though. I love the way that they interact, both on screen and in the books, they're so easy and fun to play with :) My HP OTP is Sirius/Remus ;D It's obvious that they are lovers, I mean it's practically canon.

Tbph I love a bit of Sirius/anyone though, fanfic writers have made him into a total man slag so it's so easily to find new pairings that are totally hot. I love reading Sirius/Lucius but I don't think I'd enjoy writing it as much because I'd be too tempted to slip them out of character. o__0

I think you did a really good job, actually. It made me tear up a bit. And I sort of lean toward him missing him, as a Godfather. But that's just my take.

And yeah, that's cool. I mean, that's why I did it really because obviously not everyone agrees with Harry/Sirius or certain pairings and they have such a lovely canon relationship too so I can be perceived in different ways.

I admit though the HP fandom is a bit out of hand. :|
I mean I religiously support Lupin/Sirius and I like me a bit of Harry/Sirius too now and again but some of the pairings are just ridiculous lol.

That was very well done and so enjoyable and sad. I'm usually no fan of Harry or Sirius as characters, but your presentation made me feel a lot of sympathy for both of them. I think you really highlighted their isolation and ongoing grief, both mutually and separately (I read this as a godfather and/or missing parents vid, not as slash). It was moving.
